Handlers and their dogs that have started training with The Gentle Modern School of Dog Training or Puppy School are invited to join us for a beach walk on Wednesday mornings at 9.30am. We meet at the dog beach at the bottom of Hodgson street in Ocean Grove (Melway Ref: 497 J1).

One of the reasons beach walks are great for both handlers and dogs is to assist you to gain confidence in letting your dog off lead to play and socialise with other more experienced dogs and to give handlers an opportunity to practice their “come when called” in a supportive and safe environment.

Beach walks are informal and there is no cost involved. They are simply for fun and friendship for both people and their best friends.

Dogs must be temperamentally sound with other dogs to join the beach walk. Hyperactivity is not a problem!
